FRANKLIN, TN, June 2018 — The National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the standards of health care delivery in the nation's jails, prisons and juvenile detention facilities, had a logo challenge for Meyers Design, Inc. They asked us to create a new logo for a subsidiary organization, a consulting arm called NCCHC Resources, Inc. The existing NCCHC Resources logo was simply the NCCHC logo with the words “Resources, Inc.” to the right of it in tones of brown and orange.

As is always the case, Meyers Design, Inc. delivered a graphic solution that is both visually pleasing and strategically smart and, as always, they were prompt, reliable and professional throughout the process.
       — B. Granner, Marketing and Communications Manager, NCCHC

After some in-depth brand research and development, we strategized the best way to present the organization.

By removing the space between the NCCHC and Resources, using different font weights to separate them, we created a mark that showed unity and emphasized the fact that Resources was a subsidiary of the NCCHC.

We wrapped a stylized oval shape around the name and tagline creating a single mark that represents the organization and supports the tagline “Solutions from the most trusted name in correctional health care.”
