FRANKLIN, TN, December 2019 — The National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) chose Meyers Design, Inc. to design a professional resource guide to preventing inmate suicide in jails and prisons. We approached the design with a simple layout, clean lines and color palette that would balance the complex subject matter of the guide. The 44-page, full color guide has multiple components including three “modules” (assessment, treatment, training), case studies and facility design considerations.

Inmate suicide in correctional facilities, especially jails, is a very serious problem. My organization partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to create a resource for mental health professionals to help reduce the number of suicides behind bars. I knew the product had to be top-rate, so I hired Meyers Design, Inc. The result exceeded expectations. Kevin struck just the right tone with his design. His attention to detail and the pride he takes in his work is obvious. Kevin is a consummate professional, a strategic partner and an artist.
